Jason Moreira– Kids Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Instructor & MMA
Jason has been practicing jiu-jitsu since he was five years old. He
was heavily influenced and inspired by his father, Eduardo Telles
Moreira, “The Turtle Master”. Jason began his journey at TT in Sao
Paulo, Brazil under Carlos Galvao. He received his orange belt in 2010,
at the age of 11. After his father moved to California, Jason lost some
of his motivation to train, but he soon decided to go live and train
with Telles in the United States. He received his bluebelt at 17 and
began helping teach the Kids BJJ program at 99 HQ. His accomplishments
over the years include, 2009 Sao Paulo State Champion, 2017 SJJIF World
League Vice Champion (Southern California), 2018 SJJIF World League
Champion (Southern California), and 2019 IBJJF Tokyo Open Bronze
Medalist.
